Pricing

Whilst I'm not the cheapest designer around, I'm certainly not the most expensive. I have been in the business a long time and feel that my experience is worth something. If you need to count the pennies then tell me about it and I will see what I can do. But this goes both ways... if your budget is on the large side and you want something extraordinary, then I will find ways to make my design sing for you, the photography to leap off the page and the printing to be something extra special.

Commercial design

I have completed projects for small business start ups and large blue chip companies. I can lend my hand to almost anything print related - brochures, leaflets, corporate branding, canvas prints, banners, exhibition stands - you name it, I've done it. I've dipped my toes into web design and am currently up to my knees. It doesn't come easily to me... yet, but it will do. I designed this site myself so watch this space.

Book design

All of the books that I design are bespoke and tailored with you in mind. You are welcome to phone me for an informal chat but, unfortunately, I will not be able to give you a price over the phone. In order for me to give you a formalised quotation, please provide me with the following details and email them to me at design (at) absolutelykareen.co.uk

• A brief description of the book.
• Size of the book. Various sizes are available but the ones I mainly deal with are 7x7, 10x8 (landscape and portrait), 12x12, and 13x11 (landscape). Softcover or hardcover versions are available in certain sizes.
• Details of how many photos will be included in the book
• Details of how much text will be included or in the case of a contributors - how many people will be contributing text and messages.
• Do you require any scanning or retouching of photos?
• Do you need the book delivered by a specific date?

Timescales: Two weeks are normally required to put a bespoke book together. Printing will take a further two weeks. Please factor these timescales in when planning your book.

Discounts are available for small business start ups and charitable organisations. Please call me for a quote.
